The Family Room Redo...pipe shelves, arrows, streets signs and more :)

Hello friends, is anyone still following along?
I've been a bad blogger lately.  Life is busy and I'm feeling led in other directions right now.  Hope you understand...

I decided I should stop in and show you my family room redo.  Its been "mostly done" for a while now.  I've been "tweaking" here and there...and plan to tweak some more.  Been there?

My husband made the pipe shelves...and I filled them up with fun finds, crates and tool boxes for storage.

"Playing" with a Mailbox...for storage

I'm always "playing" around with ways to keep necessities...handy but hidden.

This re-purposed mailbox is the perfect place to stash wipes, sunscreen etc. on our deck.

I just used twine to hang it from an exterior light.  I added the vinyl letters just for "fun".
The newspaper hooks work great for hanging towels...

...all very handy on our deck...
(more photos of our deck-orating HERE)

Because now that it's hot, hot, hot...the pool is OPEN :)

OK, no pool here...so this will do...for now ;)

Thanks for the visit!
Have a great weekend...stay cool!!

My "Type" of Storage :)

So I went into my son's room this morning to take a couple of pictures of the flag my husband made a few years ago...

...because I wanted to join in the fun over at Funky Junk Interiors...Patriotic Projects.

My hubby made a bunch of these flags a while back for friends and family.  He used 1 X 4 rough cut lumber and corrugated metal.
My son's name starts with an "L" too...so we've got an "L thing" going on in here :)

And while I was in there...I realized I never showed you the fun idea we came up with for showing off his Lego mini figure collection.

They fit perfectly in this old type tray...don't you think?

I (of course) let him to the arranging...looks like he's hoping to collect a "few" more Bey Blades doesn't it? :)
My "type" of storage...I'm gonna make a "junker" out of him yet!

Thanks for visiting!
