"Inspiration Corner"...more "junk" organizing...

Chipping with Charm: Inspiration Corner, Craft Organization...http://www.chippingwithcharm.blogspot.com/

In my last post I showed you my "new" Old Ladder WRAP STATION...and whined about the fact that I don't have a studio to "stash my junk".  So here's another little peek at what I've been up to at my house...

Old Ladder Wrap/Paper Station...getting organized...

Still on a mission to be more organized here...

Oh how I wish I had a studio...but I don't.  I've mentioned  before that I do most of my creating in the GREAT ROOM, on my dining room table.  So I am "on a mission" to make my supplies more "accessible" in cute and junky ways.
Here's what I cam up with for my wrapping/packaging supplies...

This old ladder works perfect for rolls of paper.

I LOVE that cross on the top...bought it that way...gotta love authentic "character" :)

This drawer fit inside for twine, string and clips.

This little water hole in a planter is the perfect spot for twine to thread though.

Oil cans for ribbon...

...and more ribbon.

LOVE this metal tool box...

...great for tags and "such".

And so I guess "that's a wrap" ;)
(Sorry, couldn't resist!!)

A Coffee (Crate) Table...and a "rusty" little vignette...

I need to start out by telling you...I didn't make this coffee crate table.  I bought it just like this.  Couldn't resist it!!
It actually took a little "side trip to the Junk Market Trunk show with me...

Did you see it there?

And then it spent a little time in the shed before I realized I had the perfect "home" for it in my sitting room :)

"Rusty" the junky antlers found a new home too.

Oh how I love making little vignettes here and there...don't you?
Sorry, I'm a "collector"...can't help myself!!

Have a great weekend friends!!
I have BIG plans to get some Spring projects done so that I can "refresh" the window at Antiques Downtown next week!  Hopefully I'll have a "peek" for you soon :)

"Junky Bunny" Spring Art

I've had these chippy little bunny in my Easter decor "stash" for many years now.  They have come in handy to tuck into little vignettes here and there.
After seeing all the fun bunnies with bushy tails on Pinterest...

I decided they needed tails this year too.
(These were little gray burlap flowers I purchased in the scrapbook section at the craft store.)

I had this old grate sitting around.  I use it over and over in my decor...usually layered up someplace.  You know how I LOVE to layer!!

I decided to just tie on my junky bunnies...

...and add some ribbon "grass".

A little "Spring" tag and some buttons finish it off.

Soooo...what do you think???  Not my "usual"...but kinda cute?  Or has this long Minnesota winter made me lose my mind?? ;)

Thanks for stopping by,

Spring Mantel '13...aqua glass, jars and JUNK...

I've been "playing"...

I LOVE switching things up for Spring...even though it's still VERY snowy here in MN :)

Raise your hand if you like aqua glass...

...and lots a junk!!
(PS...Yes, these are vintage Delco glass battery cases.  I got them a while back at the Goodwill.  You can see that older post HERE :)

You know I do :)

I was actually going to hang this canning rack above the sign...I set it here to go get my hammer and...TA DA!  There it stayed.

I decided it was "unexpected" an fun.
(Another PS...I got that sign for my birthday...you can have one too!!  It's from DAYSPRING.com)

A couple of paper birds clipped on for "cute".

The "down low"...

...more junk of course.

Remember my STRIKE PLATE CROSSES?
Did you see Carlene's version over at ORGANIZED CLUTTER?
Love them :)

How about my barn trolley...turned junky bird cage??

Let it Shine...rusty bed spring candle holders...

Hello friends...I am still "coming down" after and AMAZING weekend retreat with some beautiful ladies from my church!
God is so good!

I had the joy of putting together a little "re-purposing" project for my friends.

I kept it simple...rusty spring and a little "bling".
I also printed out a verse on clear 2X4 shipping labels to stick to the votive candle...

You are the light of the world.
A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.
Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16 NLV

"Fitting" don't you think??

Have a blessed week!!
