Look what I found today...not one but 2 aqua glass Delco Battery Cases. Now I don't know much about these and I'm not much of a "research girl"...but I did find this in on the Delco Light Colloectors Website.
I'm already "dreaming" about all the fun ways I can use them.
And I'm not sure but I'm guessing that I got a steal at $3.99 a piece! If any of you out there in Blog land have any fun ideas or additional information on these pretties...do share :)
Happy Thrifting my friends!

I don't know much about them but blue tinted glass is very popular right now. Have fun using them as vases or whatever! Yes, I think you got a great price!ReplyDelete
Have a good week, Laurel!

WOW...I'm sure they are worth WAY MORE than 3.99 each!! What a FIND! Look on ebay to see if there any for sale. That gives a price range!ReplyDelete

Wow these are so neat looking. I don't know much about them but I would say that it looks like you got them at a great price!! Look forward to seeing how you use them.ReplyDelete
Those are so pretty. I've never seen them before. They have endless possibilities.ReplyDelete
I have seen thewse before. They were priced between 30-35 dollars each. They dress them as you would old fish tanks. They are really wonderful. I am sure Sue will see some at Marburger Farm. Great find!!!
They are lovely ~ I've never heard of them. Ohhh I can see cut flowers in them or clothes pins ;-)ReplyDelete
Great find Laurel. A bit envious I might add. ;) And you didn't even have to go to an Occasional Sale and pay a lot more for them either. Very cool!ReplyDelete
I could see a summer beach theme inside one of these. A collection of smooth rocks and drift wood with a nest, or shells, sand, etc. Natural elements..
I don't know anything about them but they are going to be great to use for so many things! I think you got a great price too!ReplyDelete
I had to laugh when I saw your comment on my blog about using the mortise locks for shelves....it doesn't surprise me at all....we both have the same love of repurposing our junkin finds!!
What a great find!! I LOVE the color and think you could do so many fun things with them. Adding a beautiful bunch of tulips would be my first pick.ReplyDelete
