Playful Valentine Vignette...another vintage toy truck...

I don't do a lot of "Valentines" decor at my house...but this playful little vignette sort of fell into place the other day.

I bought this little True Value truck on a little getaway over Christmas break...do you love it?  I do :)

The "John 3:16" sign was(yet again) made by my talented friend and booth buddy Joan...

Stacked books, pop bottles and bowling pins for "trees".

I can't wait to use this truck for napkins when it's done here...

Chippy Church Pew Sides...amazing grace...

I bought these perfectly chippy church pews at the Junk Bonanza in September.

"Chipping with Charm"

It was "love at first sight" :)

That shield shape is fun too.

I made this little vignette around them on my buffet.

...I once was lost but now I'm found..."

I used stencils with chalk on black construction paper to make the letters.  They are hanging on a vintage tape measure secured with button cover push pins.

These are wooden organ pipes.  I LOVE salvage church treasures.

A crusty little stand and a light fixture globe make a sweet little lantern.

A Coffee (Crate) Table...and a "rusty" little vignette...

I need to start out by telling you...I didn't make this coffee crate table.  I bought it just like this.  Couldn't resist it!!

It actually took a little "side trip to the Junk Market Trunk show with me...

And then it spent a little time in the shed before I realized I had the perfect "home" for it in my sitting room :)

"Rusty" the junky antlers found a new home too.

Oh how I love making little vignettes here and there...don't you?
