So the other day I shared our new SPOOL OTTOMAN for the back patio.
And as I was digging around in my "Spool Stash"...
(What? Doesn't everyone have a spool stash? Is that odd? Maybe a little?)
...I found this other little spool that I had been thinking I'd use for a spinning spice rack.
We just added a "Lazy Susan" to the bottom...another easy one here. No surprise :)
And again, I just coated it with a matte poly spray and left it "as is"...industrial charm??
The perfect height for spices...
...spin it around for sweeteners etc.
Works for me :)
Here are a couple of other things we've made from various spools...
Did you see this little spool table layered with linens in the "Vintage kid" section in OUR BOOTH AT ANTIQUES DOWNTOWN?
Or this one...
...we "DRESSED UP" for a salad bar party?
Fun for flowers too!
So what about you? Have you made anything clever with spools lately?
I'd love to hear more :)
