Our home has small rooms...have I mentioned that? ;)
We needed to get "creative" to give our kids more space to sleep AND play...
Last month I shared our son's Little Man Cave made from pallet racking.
And ever since then, our daughter has been waiting VERY patiently for her room's face "lift".
This is the "Before"...sweet but...
Here's the "After" :)
My husband built this bed from scratch.
We made the fold down railing from pieces of old spindles...
"Before"
"After"
Here's a little tour inside her "cottage"...
Kitchen
Baby's Room
Cozy :)
A nice little window seat that doubles as "dress up" storage.
This room is so small...we have to use every inch.
I originally bought this little dresser because I liked the drawers. I was planning on repainting the pink base.
Glad I waited. I used vintage book pages to line the drawers.
"Girl-y" treasures.
The planter to corral her animals was something I saw a while ago on Pinterest. Works great!
She loves it VERY much!
I am very blessed to have a handy husband to help me get creative to give my kids fun bedrooms...despite the small spaces and with minimum expense.
I told my husband maybe we should loft OUR bed to make room for a "crawl in closet" ;)

ReplyDeleteI bet we could...I'll talk to my husband and see if he can walk us through it :)
DeleteYes, I would LOVE step by step directions as well. Actually for both the boy's and the girl's loft beds. These are awesome but my imagination is no where near as wonderful as yours but I can get my husband to follow some directions. :) Thank you.
