Hello friends, long time to see.  Life has been busy.  

So happy it's Spring.  I am feeling excited and inspired to get creating.  Here is a little peek at what I am up to these days...

I guess blogging isn't my "thing" these days.  So much going in my life.  The kids are home and my summer days are busy.

We moved into a new booth at Antiques Downtown last week.  We love our new spot out front by the check out area.

And now we are busy getting ready for the Shed Sweet Shed Boutique, September 9th and 10th, 2016.

More Trowel Photo Holders and an upcoming market at 3:17 Vintage, Afton, MN

Hello friends, 

I a getting ready for Spring in our booth and a couple of upcoming markets.

I had a stash of trowels going and decided it was time to revisit the Trowel Photo Holders that I have made for past shows...

Of course I had to switch things up a bit and stamp words on some. I never like to do things exactly the same.  Can you relate?

  

I will be bringing most of these to 3:17 Vintage in Afton, MN for their March Market.  We are honored to be the guest vendors at this treasure of a shop!  Click the link for more details and to follow them on Facebook...you won't be disappointed.

A Few Things at the Shop...more junk for photos...

Hello again, after a fun week of craft projects for the Michaels Pinterest Party  last Sunday...I am ready to get back into my usual "junk project mode".  I'm hoping to have some thing to show you soon :)

Until then, I thought I'd show you a few things I brought into our booth at Antiques Downtown last week...

So "Last Year"...a look back at the best of 2013...

I wasn't going to do a "Best of 2013" post...

Since I'm in cleaning, organizing and purging mode here I decided to do a round up of some organizing ideas from 2013 instead...

But then it got REALLY cold...and school was cancelled so my kids were home...and all my big "plans" didn't seem as important as getting "cozy" with my kiddos for a couple more days.

Then I started peeking around at all of the fun "Best of 2013" posts and I got curious...are you curious too? 

Maybe nobody else cares...but since I don't have anything else to share I'm going to show you anyway...OK?

I was hesitant to post this tour of our "less than perfect" home...but as my 2nd most viewed post of 2013...I guess it turned out OK.  You all must love "Home Tours" as much as I do??

And the #1 most viewed post here last year was...

"Couple of Drawers and a Sign"

The thing that makes me extra happy about this post being the most viewed is that it features this amazing sign made by my dear friend and booth partner Joan(aka Signs of the Times).

So that's that...and now I'd better run and "move on" to 2014.  The kiddos are back in school and it's time to "focus" on getting back into a routine.

I don't have a "plan" for 2014, I will just wait to see what God has in store :)

Canning Jar Snowman...or Snowladies

Do you remember my snowman made from fish bowls?

It's one of my most "popular" Christmas posts from a couple of years ago.  You can visit "him" HERE.

This year I decided to make a little "mini" version for our booth at Antiques Downtown.

I started with assorted canning jars...this is "Mason".  Filled them part way with fake snow...

...and a little heart ornament.

Then I filled a clear glass ornament with a little more snow and glued it on with Amazing Goop glue.

When that dried, I glued on a silver sugar bowl lid for a hat.

 Then I added some burlap ribbon scarves and sparkly accessories.

Meet Snow"Ball".

And "Presto"...she feels kind of "fancy" with her tree pin.

"Mason" had a little "accident"...so he stayed here with me for a little extra TLC.

The other 2 went to our booth...

...along with their bigger brother "Atlas".

Broken Lantern + Ball Jar = Snow Globe

Sorry I have been MIA again this week...still busy decorating and creating.  I LOVE this time of year...and for me it's not just a matter of opening some bins and putting stuff out.  I like to use things I have and create a new look each year.  Time consuming...but for me it's a little piece of Heaven on earth.  Really.

And since I'm not ready for a "reveal" of what I've been working on here...I thought I'd show you something else I made for our booth at Antiques Downtown...

I bought this empty shell of a lantern at an occasional sale...

...it was the perfect fit for a ball jar.

I painted the lid aqua for fun.

Some "snow" and a little tree...

...and of course a happy little "embellishment".

Cute little decoration for the Holidays.  

It sold right away :)
