Happy New Year friends!
I mentioned in my KITCHEN REDO POST that I really wanted to update this entry closet turned pantry...now its a mini "mud room".
We actually started this project in November but just finally had time to "style" it to share.
Sadly, I don't have a great "before" picture of the inside. But I can give you a brief description...lots of wire shelving and random stuff that didn't have a home after our kitchen redo.
We started by removing those bi-fold doors. Yippee!
Then we removed the shelving and filled lots and lots of holes. Next my husband framed in the opening to give it a more finished look. After some painting...
...it was ready for the fun vintage lockers I bought this fall at Antiques Downtown.
This set didn't have the original locker numbers so I added some adhesive label tags and the words "Home Sweet Home" for fun.
There were a couple of holes in this locker already. Perfect spot for a warm welcome.

I had lots of fun accessorizing the top.
I have a feeling this will be another area that will get some seasonal "switch ups".
This is what it looked like at Christmas.
I bought this sign at the thrift store...but the back says https://www.etsy.com/shop/SweetlyBundled
We added lots of hooks to make this little space fun and functional.
I purchased this sign at the fall Junk Bonanza.
It was "love at first sight".
A couple of little stools stacked up for shoe storage.
The lockers are hiding some of our cleaning supplies.
Another hook to hold a broom and dust pan that was too cute to hide away :)
I love this outdoor mat from Target.
It's great spot to stash snowy boots without wrecking the floor.
I got this sign made by my friend Joan of Signs of the Times from my family for Christmas.
I have another fun piece from Joan by my front door. I love to have scripture all over my house. Have you noticed?
Here's the view from another angle.
(CRATE LIGHT FIXTURE)
We covered the back of this little cupboard with barn tin and pulled it out into the room to create a more defined entry space.
(The green suitcase holds more craft supplies.)
You might remember that basket light fixture from "way back when"...
I posted it back in 2011...
Chippy Welcome
So I guess that's all I have to say for now.
Thanks for stopping by...

I have a few more "cluttered" areas to freshen up! It feels so good to get organized, doesn't it?
Until next time,

Wow, what a fun space you created, those lockers were meant to be there! Love all the signs and that smiling dust pan is just too cute.
