The Shed Sweet Shed Spring Boutique has come and gone...

It is always a whirlwind of preparations and excitement.  

It was an amazing weekend.  The weather was not 100% cooperative...but we made the best of it.  My friends, family and customers were "troopers" and we survived rain, wind and un-seasonally cold temps here in Minnesota.

JunkMarket Trunk Show Preview...with pictures :)

 If you read my last post you know that I've been having some trouble posting this week.  But I am happy to say I am back in "business"!!  Yay :)

Thanks to all of you who gave me tips and tricks...I really appreciate it!  Honestly, all this computer stuff stresses me out...I just want to make stuff, post about it and chat with you all.  Is that too much to ask??

 But during my "down time" I got a lot done for the JunkMarket show this weekend.

I think this was my favorite new idea.

 I bought a few of these chippy garden fence sections at Christmas time for an idea that never happened.

I took them apart and then layered them on top of each other.

I used twine to tie them together.

 

Ta daa...a heart for photos...or whatever you choose.  

I also used a couple for something else...but that's a surprise for the show.  You'll have to stop back to see photos of the booth if you are curious :)

(I'll be sure to post pictures of our booth and more on Facebook tonight after we set up too.)

So "Last Year"...a look back at the best of 2013...

I wasn't going to do a "Best of 2013" post...

Since I'm in cleaning, organizing and purging mode here I decided to do a round up of some organizing ideas from 2013 instead...

But then it got REALLY cold...and school was cancelled so my kids were home...and all my big "plans" didn't seem as important as getting "cozy" with my kiddos for a couple more days.

Then I started peeking around at all of the fun "Best of 2013" posts and I got curious...are you curious too? 

Maybe nobody else cares...but since I don't have anything else to share I'm going to show you anyway...OK?

I was hesitant to post this tour of our "less than perfect" home...but as my 2nd most viewed post of 2013...I guess it turned out OK.  You all must love "Home Tours" as much as I do??

The thing that makes me extra happy about this post being the most viewed is that it features this amazing sign made by my dear friend and booth partner Joan(aka Signs of the Times).

So that's that...and now I'd better run and "move on" to 2014.  The kiddos are back in school and it's time to "focus" on getting back into a routine.

Lucky Me...a special gift...

Not to "rub it in"...or anything ;)

I mentioned in a previous post that I celebrated a "BIG" birthday in December...

But I never showed you the special gift I received from my friend Joan (SIGNS OF THE TIMES)

I just FINALLY got it hung up...and I couldn't wait to show you!!

Like usual...I have no idea what this piece originally did ;)

...but with the addition of this lock box screwed to the wall for a little shelf...

...and some papers and "greens"...

...it's the perfect addition to my home...

...right by my front door.  

The PERFECT thing for my family and friends to see as they come and go!!

Thank you Joan!!  I LOVE it!!
