I guess this is my first post in 2016...

Happy New Year!

Since repurposed angels have sort of become my "thing"...I guess it's a good way to start the year.

Time for a fresh start...a clean slate :)

Our Winter Porch...a big ol' junk party...greens, yardsticks, stars and more.

It's been pretty cold here in MN.  My porch has been a little neglected...

Not Quite Ready...



Forgive me...again ;)

 

 

Things still look a "little bit" Christmas-y around here.

 

 

I'm just not quite ready to pack it all up...not yet.

 

 

Maybe it's because it all went so fast...I didn't get to show you everything.

 

 

...like this rusty "crown" around my nativity.  Or those spring-y bottle trees.

 

 

Or my twinkling basket bouquets.

 

 

...with these cool "Fire Bombs"...another fun gift from my Country Junk friends.

 

 

Or maybe it's because my sweet hubby and I both did a little extrs celebrating over the Holidays.  We BOTH had a "big" birthday.

 

 

All those wreaths came in handy ;)

 

 

I guess it's probably a combination of all those things...and more  But whatever the reason...I'm going to enjoy the "twinkle" for a few more days.  I'll pack it all away this weekend...and be back to "normal" next week.

Packing, Sorting and Cleaning...oh my...

Hello again...yes, we're still alive, no I haven't had time to do anything creative worth sharing...

I've been running around like a tornado packing up Christmas, sorting through closets and cleaning up remnants of Christmas greens.  And since I'm not very good at "multi-tasking"...I've felt need to focus on that this week.

Hope all is well in your part of the world...
