I am still playing with my Old Sign Stencils by Funky Junk Interiors...

This time I used the Tree Farm Stencil

But just that cute little tree.

I used it to paint on these old molding pieces.
After the paint dried, I distressed the tree and used Amazing Goop glue to attach some button ornaments.

The added hooks look a bit like a trunk to me.

These tree shapes were thrift store finds.  I painted them in the same creamy white to coordinate.

And now we have our own little forest of tree hooks.  Great for stockings, special ornaments...whatever we decide.

To be continued on this little wood slice wreath.  Once again I couldn't leave "well enough" alone...

  2. I really REALLY love your tree hooks! I had tall wooden trees like that and never thought to do this. WHY did I give them away?! :)

Really clever take on the stencilled tree idea, Laurel! So pretty!

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is needed to get setup?

I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100% certain.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Appreciate it
