I'm not exactly sure what possessed me to design a "Wine Bar" on a Thursday afternoon. Maybe this Minnesota girl has been "cooped up" too long? This snow and cold is driving me to...decorate...
It all started with this Destination Art wine sign I bought at a Junk Market show a while back.
It needed a new spot...
So I cleared off this cupboard in my dining room and it just sort of came together.
I didn't actually drink any wine while decorating...promise.
I don't know...
Maybe I'm just "day dreaming" about warmer weather and summer "get togethers"??
Today my son is home from school sick...so I don't suppose anyone will want to come over.
But I'll be ready :)

Stay warm,
I'll be right over and you can pop open a bottle. This is so much fun, love all your little touches. Hope your son starts to feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool. You left the truck and globe and a lot of neat accessories...conversations starters?
ReplyDeleteI hope spring gets here soon. I might be driven to do something other than decorating. Drinking a lot of wine?
Hope your little guy feels better soon.
XO,
Jane
Laurel- You aren't drinking cuz your son is home from school are you?;>) Just checking! Love your wine bar -what fun. It IS the weather- it is getting to all of us- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI really like how your wine bar area turned out...love that little truck. Hope your son feels better real soon.

that is the funnest and cutest wine bar I've ever seen...on my way...lol....Christine from Little Brags
ReplyDeleteLaurel very good job and such fun items in the vignette. The winter has no mercy on NJ either. Another storm on Monday. I am losing my mind. I can't be creative with no house of my own. So it is getting very hard for us with snow and cold over and over again. Trying to build the house hasn't been all that fun with t his weather.

So fun and cute! I love the pops of blue colors!! And the globes are fun too! :) Hope your son starts to feel better soon! Happy weekend! xo Holly
ReplyDeleteAccidental wine bar - that's cute and we believe you, lol. It looks great and I'll be right over for a glass of Shiraz, Laurel. Then, when you are occupied with pouring the wine, I put the white toolbox in my tote ;).
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Julia
Wadda 'ya got in the top of that bottle?
ReplyDeleteLove this! What a perfect use of good 'junk' to create a fun bar! Pour me a glass :)

What a cute vignette, Laurel! Such a fun mix of items. I haven't even let myself daydream too much of "real" spring yet, much less Summer! Seems a looong way off :)
