Frame Makeover...a "new" look for some old pictures frames...

Recently I acquired a box of old picture frames.
I forgot to take "before" pictures...but I'm sure you get the idea...

I removed the glass and the backs...painted them black...and wrapped them with twine.

Of course you need a word tag and a little button/key detail :)

I don't think I can call this a "re-purpose" can I??  How about we just call it a little "junky makeover"?

There were some bigger frames too.  I forgot to take pictures of the "after" before I took them to our booth at Antiques Downtown.  I'll be back to show you what I did with those.  Similar...but different...

Until then,

  9. Laurel I love all of your creative ideas. I like that you've taken something inexpensive and turned it into not only something functional but also a work of art on it's own. Great little details -- pinning this :)
