It's no secret how much I love coffee...and having hot drinks on demand in MN is a "must" during the winter.
We thought about closing up this window to the porch for more cupboard space during our recent KITCHEN REDO...but the natural light won out.
With the addition of a salvaged wood shelf and a few signs to block a bit of the "porch view"...I think it will serve us well.
My husband used some boards that he salvaged from our old kitchen.
This one even has the pencil height marks from our little people...couldn't paint over that, could I?!
I love this Coffee Roasters stencil from Old Sign Stencils by Funky Junk Interiors. Sadly, I had to leave a few of the fun details off to fit this perfectly chippy board.
I decided to try a banner style Hot Cocoa sign this time.
(Also an Old Sign Stencil.)
My daughter figured out that our family initials spell out "tell". I'm not sure what that has to do with hot drinks, but I thought it was sweet...so I left it.
This little corner will get a LOT of attention.
Chat soon,
I'm seriously swooning all over your coffee bar, Laurel! I'd swoon over just coffee anyway, but you sure know how to up the ante with your junk!

ReplyDeleteCute and provides more storage while allowing precious light in. My hubs would love your coffee station since he's a big coffee drinker, never had a cup in my life. Love the signs...
