Sweetest Little Vintage Skis

Time is tick-tick-ticking away isn't it?  It will be the 25th before we know it!!!

I bought these cute little skis a while back at a friends garage sale.  They looke pretty cute propped here and there but I always had intentions of adding clips for pictures and such.  So I pulled out my Gorilla glue...

"Damp it, Glue it, Clamp it"

Ta-Da ;)

I added hooks to the back because I assumed I would hang them...

But then I started "playing" because the lighting wasn't "photo pleasing" where I had them hanging...and now I'm not so sure.  Think I'm gonna need some more greens...

In the meantime, I'm going to link up to Vintage Inspiration Friday...

Since I'm still a "newbie" blogger...anyone wanna share some thoughts on other parties I should trying linking up to???
AND....
I was HONORED to be featured today over at

Very fun for sure!

  1. I saw you at Cozy Little House today! That is great! I love what you have done here with this little project. Looks great! Very clever. Linky parties are the way to go to grow your audience and meet new people. There are home decorating blogs, vintage inspiration and more crafty/tutorial types. I have a few I always participate in listed on my left side bar. It is a mix. Go to past parties and see if any of your recent posts would fit in. I know they would. There is also a link on my left side bar for the guidebook(look for the bee). Once you connect they offer a page that lists the linky parties by day. You can explore that way too. Good luck!

  2. Tomorrow there is a once a month linky party at The Answer is Chocolate. I bet this project would fit there nicely. Carol is the blogger and very welcoming. Join us! I'll have a link up posted in a bit. I'm linking my current post - paper clay snowmen. Take care!
