And since I can't really "think Spring" here in MN, I haven't been in "project mode" lately. I'm still in "Winter mode" which means sorting, cleaning and "nesting" inside. So I thought I'd take you on a little stroll around my house with a quick peek at the "bits" of Spring making an appearance at my house...
And I already gave you a "peek" at the nesting we've been doing in our booth. Want another look? Just "click" HERE.

Oh I can't imagine having all that snow! We had a dusting on Saturday and it's raining again here in Chicago so no garden work for me yet this year either! I love the book page birds and the way you stamped the words on them. Great idea to have all of these little 'nests' around to make us 'think spring'!
ReplyDeletesweet post. love the little birdie in/on different things.

Hi, You showed so many lovely treasures. I love it all...Connie
ReplyDeleteLove all of your spring touches, Laurel...and who would have thought you'd be taking those photos at the end of April! Hoping the snow all disappears this weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou have so many fun displays around your home! I love all the nests/birds :)

Beautiful Laurel! Your displays are gorgeous, you have so many chippy rusty things!

Of course you know that I am totally drooling over all of your fabulous cloche displays and the nests are such a lovely spring touch even if there is snow on the ground. Gorgeous. I would love it if you would link up to my

ReplyDeleteI missed this post I guess. Just saw it featured at A Troll Thru Life. Cool lampshade and metal cloches.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I came to be here, drifting & reading through the World of Blogs, but I've enjoyed reading your site. You have an eye for things I also find attractive and sometimes even mesmerizing! I'll be back to read.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to sound odd. I have to say your unnecessary use of quotation marks gave me an unusual experience: I had to read every word! I evidently speed read, diagonally across a paragraph. With all those words (not phrases or quotes) in quotation marks, I realized how much my reading experienced is hinged upon noticing quotation and other punctuation marks and gaining the tone of the subject's experience. With so many marks where no one was speaking, nor being quoted, my eye slammed to a stop and I read the whole sentence again. Not sure if I'm complimenting or complaining! LOL! It did slow me down and I got extra long looks at some really beautiful pictures.
Thank you for taking the time to put this nice Blog online.
