Christmas in a Canister???

Yes, I'm thinking Christmas...between the centerpieces I did last weekend at church and making goodies to sell at the shops, I'm in the "Spirit" :)

I found these class canisters at the thrift store...

I was drawn to their metal lids.

I decided to lay them on their sides and give them a little Christmas cheer...fake snow and some sheet music.

A little more embellishment...and done.

Of course Jingle Bells needed some jingle bells :)
I think these would be cute tucked in on shelves here and there...kind of like a sign in a bottle.

I also found this one with a cork lid...which inspired some more "cheer".

So how about you?  Are you starting to get into the spirit???  Or are you holding out?

  10. I have most of the gifts made, and now am thinking on the decorations. I usually put them up after Thanksgiving, which, oh my, is just around the corner.

Your jars are terrific. You seem able to turn most anything into something wonderful.
