Would you buy these???

I found these little lovelies at an antique store over the weekend...I know, I was supposed to be doing projects all weekend...but I ran out for a quick "sec" to see if something I had seen last week was still there...it wasn't...

...but these were.  And believe it or not I like them just the way they are...gray, my fave and assorted handles and sizes.  The writing is fun too...history.

This one is my favorite...love the handle, the shallow size and the little slot.
So what do you think?  Would you have bought them?  I'm guessing if so... most of you would paint them...call me crazy :)

Linking up for...

  4. I would definitely have bought these. I am always on the hunt for old drawers..they have so many uses...hung on the wall as small shelves, for storing craft supplies or small collectibles, and, as I often use them, as the base for decoupage or altered art projects. Hope you have fun with them!

  5. Oh I would be drooling over them. Wait, that is what I am doing. I would leave them as is for a while and then some day when I got tired of them, then I would paint them.

  12. I would have bought them! But I would paint over the lettering, just because "chisels" is misspelled and it would drive me crazy every time I looked at it!

  15. I would buy them, but not paint them. I tend to leave things as is more often than painting. Those are wonderful for storage too. They're aren't just all beauty, they have function too!
