Faux Antler Mounts...repurposing fun

Chipping with Charm: Faux Antler Mounts...www.chippingwithcharm.blogspot.com
These little antlers used to serve a different purpose...do you know what it was?

How about now?

Or now?
The antique store tags said they were pen holders??  I assume maybe they were for fountain pens and the jar of ink sat in that little circle?
(UPDATE: Thanks to a couple of kind comments...we now know that these were displays for a cup and saucer!  Sorry, no pictures since min are already living their new life as antlers :)

But when I looked at them all I could see were the antler mounts that are popping up all over in decorating right now...and I couldn't resist giving them a new life.

For now I hung them in with my junky little gallery wall in my family room.

  7. I, too, see nothing but antlers in the first pic. Love it! What are the emblems paired up with them. They're super cool, also.
