Vintage Knitting Needles Repurposed...Paper Flowers

Chipping with Charm: Knitting Needle Book Page Flowers www.chippingwithcharm.blogspot.com
A while back I found a bunch of vintage knitting needles.
This idea popped into my head...and I just finally got around to making them...

Something about the assortment of colors and sizes was inspiring to me.

Some had naturally peeling paint...and of course the numbers.

I just needed a few supplies...vintage book pages, paper punches and glue.

You can probably tell by looking at the back how it all came together.
Pretty simple...cut out the flower, punch a hole in the middle and slide it on.  I put a thin layer of glue up by the top of the needle and then I leaned them upside down against the handle of a tool tote to dry.

Careful...
If/when they fall it can have a bit of a domino effect.  Ask me how I know??

Put them in a vase or sticking out of a plant.  Just a fun little pop of whimsy.

This assortment of flowers and milk glass vases makes me happy :)
