The Spring Tree...my version...

Chipping with Charm: Spring Tree...http://chippingwithcharm.blogspot.com/

I've seen so many cute version of the spring tree...that I hesitated to show you mine.  But since I'm on a tree "kick", I decided...why not?

Pretty basic...a pot flipped upside down with a spring on top.

I started with just a star and a tag.

Then I added a few ornaments for fun.

Or maybe without the tag...whatever makes you happy.
My kids like them with the ornaments...

...but I think I like them plain.

How about you?

  1. Hahaha I just did a post on some of these springs I bought on ebay... mine aren't trees but they were very cool in my Christmas decorating! I wish I could find a whole darn bed of them! :)

  3. A sweet girl shared some springs with me,,,you may know her. Those springs are little trees right now on my long dining table, sitting there unadorned and beautiful just as they are...might have to add some tags though cause I love that added touch!!! Never would have thought about the little pots either...so sweet!!

  5. Another very cute idea! I found a HUGE box of springs at a flea market this summer and nabbed them all! I sold most of them in my booth but saved a few for projects. I need to go dig them out and make some trees!
