Hello friends, I've been "missing" again. Lots going on in our little world. Not much time for projects these days, but I wanted to stop in to say "HI"...so I decided to "re-post" an "oldie but goodie" that some of you may not have seen...
Do you remember my "FLOWERS THAT NEVER FADE"??
I made them using forks, faucet handles and "fancy" bobbles (felt like I needed to keep with the "f" thing :))
You can see more details and a simple "How to"...
HERE :)
And here are a couple of other "unique" plant stakes I've shared in the past...
Meat Fork Plant Stakes??
Paint Mixer Flower
Hope everyone is having a great summer full of family and fun. I plan to stop in more often when things slow down around here...but I'm going to take the "pressure" off and just enjoy these "not as little" ones that I have been blessed with. My youngest starts kindergarten in the fall...sniff, sniff...and I'm sure then I will have more than enough time for creating and blogging...bitter-sweet isn't it??
Enjoy every minute <3 font="">3>

Old faucet handles are on my list of 'things I'd like to find a few of for projects'. These are so cute and I also really like the meat fork/stake with the sentiment on it -- pinning these for the day that I DO find the faucets and some old garden tools.
ReplyDeleteCute idea! As for the kiddos - soak up as much time with them as you can! These days are too short! Life to the full! Melissa @ DaisyMaeBelle
ReplyDeleteHi Laurel,
ReplyDeleteFound you on Hometalk with this great oldie but goodie! Now I've found your blog and will be a follower. I began blogging in January - mostly about my 5 yrs of antiquing with 2 sisters, but my garden at home has a special place in my heart and my life. I have a large assortment of faucet handles, and have pinned this project. I hope you'll stop by my blog sometime if you're so inclined. Happy 4th - it's nice to 'meet' you!

Oh my word. Those are so cute.
ReplyDeleteVery cute flowers. Enjoy the time with the kiddos. I've been having a hard time keeping up with blogging and still spending quality summer fun time with my son, so I will probably join you in taking the pressure off. Kids are only young once.
ReplyDeleteHi Laurel. I stopped by coming from Carlene's Organized Clutter Queen. She showed your very cute idea of the plant stakes and I just had to tell you how cute they are..Hope you are enjoying your summer..Judy
