"Reely" Fun Plant Stand...

Hello friends....yes, I'm still alive...no I haven't had much time for "creating"...

I have desperately wanted to pop in to say hello but didn't have anything "new" to show you.  Then when I was out "plopping" mums around...I realized I haven't shown you my "reely" fun little plant stand.  My hubby helped me make out of an old hose reel.  I posted it on Junk Market Style a while back so some of my JMS friends might recognize it...

This cool base had been just hanging around my garage waiting for the right top to come along...

My husband just "tacked" (aka lightly welded) this metal piece in for stability...it can easily be removed if I decide to make it into a table or something later...

...and there ya go.
I'll admit, these are even old pictures. I really did try to go out and take fresh pictures but the afternoon sun was just too bright casting annoying shadows.  I'll try to hop out in the morning to get a shot of "her" sitting up on my front porch all decked out for fall.  Like I said I couldn't wait to say "Hi"...I've missed you all so :)

Hopefully I'll be back "re-creating" a bit next week...but I said that last week and nothing yet.  I haven't stopped collecting...so I have plenty of cool junk to play with.  So see you again soon...have a great weekend...

  7. That is a great idea. The green on the stand looks great against the yellow.
