Junkers Unite with a Signs and Hooks Wall...plus a party and a giveaway

Hello friends, guess what??
Another exciting Junkers United event starts today! 

If you are new here, my name is Laurel and I am a collector, decorator and "re-purposer".  As my profile says, I am on a mission to create a home that's "Chipping with Charm".

OK, now we can return to the JUNK PARTY...

A while back I introduced you to the great group of junkers Donna of Funky Junk Interiors gathered to pin to a board she started called JUNKERS UNITED.  
If you missed it, you can visit that post HERE.

We're back...with more new ideas for some old junk :)
And this is what I am bringing to the party today...

I am so very lucky to live about 45 minutes from the bi-annual HUGE junk event...JUNK BONANZA.

And that is where I found most of the signs and pieces I used for this project.

These tin words were from a vendor at the Junk Bonanza...sure wish I would have grabbed a card so I could share their info! Don't you LOVE them?

I started by laying out my design on the floor.

 

 Then we attached most of the parts to a piece of plywood.  We didn't want our wall underneath to look like Swiss cheese.

 

Then we used screws to attach the whole thing to the wall, and added an assortment of junk for hooks.

 

 Great places to hang a picture...

 ...or whatever.

I just love how it all came together...a little bit crazy...but lots of FUN :)
