"Sweet" Wreath...re-visited for Fall

You might remember I have a "thing" for turning bake ware into wreaths...

 Here's the "Sweet" Spring Wreath I made out of a jello mold March of 2011.

And here's the odd unique one I made out of a Bundt pan and book pages...that same Spring.

When I saw this chippy orange Bundt pan it reminded me of a pumpkin :)

A little twine...

...some book page leaves, a real leaf and an old clothes pin pulls/holds it all together.

Metal Ladder Repurposed...Hook Rack/Storage

I bought this metal ladder at an occasional store a while back.  I was thinking it would be great for display at shows.

Until I realized my son needed some "hooks" in his room. So I flipped it upside down and backwards...

...and hung it on his wall.

I just used a little wire to hang it...

...which also made a great spot to display some art work.

A bike basket tied on with twine is a great place to stash some books.

I made this little canvas chalkboard by painting over an old faded canvas picture with gray paint and then with chalkboard paint.  Great to add a message for our little "Jedi".

I think I found the perfect re-purpose.  Functional and fun.  He LOVES it :)

Who doesn't LOVE a yummy scented candle, right??

So when the nice people at GOOSE CREEK CANDLE CO. contacted me and asked if they could send me one of their "top selling" candles to try and review.  I said "Yes, please!!!"

 

First I had to choose a scent from their AMERICAN HERITAGE jar candle collection...

 

 

At first I was drawn to this VANILLA CASHMERE scent...sounds
heavenly doesn't it?  And I was crushing on that lovely "grayish" color...because you know that would look pretty cute sitting in ANY room of my gray filled house...

 

 

...but then I saw the WHIPPED PUMPKIN LATTE scent and that was it.  I have a bit of a "Pumpkin Spice Latte" problem you know :)

 

 

I am "in love" with this candle.  It has a wonderfully gentle fragrance that "sneaks" into every room of my house.

My daughter even thought I was hiding a "surprise treat" in the oven for her...sorry honey :)

 

 

And I really like the jars that the Heirloom Collection come in...clean lines and label free.  I think they would fit into any home.  And look at that cute silver lid with the tree on it...simply perfect.

Wouldn't they make great gifts?  Teachers, Holidays, Hostess...options are endless :)

 

 

 

I  thought this LIVING LIFE collection was fun too.

 

 

And since this wonderful fall scent got me dreaming of those cozy fall days ahead...I couldn't resist embellishing my jar a little bit for fun.

 

 

Because nothing says "fall" like burlap and book page leaves...right? ;)
