These rusty little shoes were one of my best sellers at the Junk Market Under Glass show last week.
Pretty simple, but kinda cute :)
Just a little twine, a vintage buckle and an assortment of vintage jewels.
I made a bunch...and sold them all. We girls like our shoes...no matter what the variety.
OK, so now I guess I'm done procrastinating...I'm tackling a big basement overhaul this weekend. If I'm feeling gutsy I'll post before and after pictures next week. But trust me when I say the before is not pretty!!!
Do you have big project plans this weekend?

Chat soon,
Very interesting! I have a "few" of those iron shoe forms and No one buys them...hmm..guessing maybe a little "bling" may do the trick if I may "copy" your idea?!
ReplyDeleteJust never know what will sell and what doesn't!
Looking forward to the basement project!
Warmly,
deb
Those are really cute Laurel! Kind of looks like a flip flop. May I pin it?
ReplyDeleteVery cute, Laurel! Didn't have time to shop at JMUG. Did you sell these there? Shoe's are another one of my fetishes (along with jewelry)...lol!

These are wonderful. I've had so many of these over the last few years, but never did anything with them...shame on me. So simple, yet so elegant. Yes, we love our shoes. Hope your basement project is coming along!
ReplyDeleteOf course they sold out, they were darn cute! Now show us the basement before's and after, be brave.
ReplyDelete~Bliss~
They really are great, Laurel...and they may be simple, but they are very creative with an original spin...to me simple is best!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are awesome. I have only acquired 1 or two of the cobbler shoes. I have been saving them. This is their future. Wonderfully creative.

First time visitor---don't know how I missed this fun blog. AND a fellow Minnesotan, to boot. Followed links to the barn and all the goodies. Do you sell from a shop or just special sale sites. Thanks, will continue to follow.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Love the mix of bling and rust (does the sale come with a complimentary tetanus shot? (tee hee!).
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking it up at our "It's a Cinch" party!

These are amazing Its a great idea to present Shoelace charm with old culture Shoes. I also have a great collection of Shoelace charms which are interchangeable lace tips for shoes, hoodies, shorts & more.
