Still making trees here :)
I started with this "slanted" funnel.
(Have you seen all of Carlene's funnel trees over at ORGANIZED CLUTTER? She is the "Queen" of the funnel tree!)
The next "layer" is a metal rake top. That inspiration came from Beth at PATINA WHITE. I fell "in love" with the rake head Christmas tree she posted on Facebook. Did you see it? If not, you can see it HERE.
The top is a vintage green dust pan flipped upside down...wire handle removed.
The star used to be on a shower curtain hook.
So glad I kept them :)
Vintage earring "ornaments".
And a 25 made with construction paper and chalk.
And "Ta Da"...another junky Christmas tree.

And wait, there are more :)
Until next time,
Oh, I love how you repurpose 'good junk'!! This is too cute :)

I just used a rake to make a tree myself so I can hang Christmas cards on it. But I am in love with the funnel layer on yours! Awesome, as usual!
ReplyDeleteYou just can't beat that rusty, old charm of mixed elements. You chose some great ones for this one Laurel!
ReplyDeleteLaurel,
ReplyDeleteYou never stop amazing me with what your creative mind and rusty old charming things can do together. This is awesome. I just love it.
