Old Drawers to End Tables...






I finally did a project with yardsticks!


I had a few of these old rustic drawers in my "stash".


My handy husband welded up some bases for me...


...and attached them to the inside of the drawer.



Then I stared playing with the yardsticks and bead board.  I had 3 tables to fill so it was a bit of a puzzle to get it to fit.


I attached the pieces with a little Gorilla wood glue and piled it with books to dry...

"Perfectly Imperfect"...just the way I like it :)

One for me...and I brought the other 2 to Antiques Downtown.
One in the window.
And one in our booth.
Another project down...a "million" more to go :)

    Fabulous! I love the way you mixed the old yardsticks with other boards. I'm with Linda and Becky...maybe your husband can teach mine how to weld:-)

    Wow! Industrial stuff is so hot right now, your husband could go into business welding "stuff" for people. Those tables are great!

    FOund this on Pinterest. Great use for yard sticks - I love a good yardstick project. I've got a big collection of them, too. MIght have to try something like this!

    Love your drawer tables! Could you make one with the drawer facing upright? It might make a great serving tray table :) Or add an upright drawer at the bottom, near the feet of the table, thus adding a drawer/box for magazines, small blankets etc. Love these so much. TFS!!
