Words cannot express the sadness I feel over the tragedy last week at Sandy Hook Elementary School. So please forgive me if I'm quiet this week...
I'll be busy loving on these 2 little "charmers"...and praying for those in Connecticut who sent their little angels off to school not knowing they would not be coming home.
And focusing even more on this...
"Immanuel...God with us"
Matthew 1:23
Thoughts and Prayers,
Laurel,
ReplyDeleteYou just keep on hugging and kissing on your little ones...blogging is nothing...our families are everything!!! I just posted NTT, but sure didn't want to. I will not be around much this week (spending more time with my love ones),so I wish you and your beautiful family a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Blessings,
Linda
Amen, Laurel!
ReplyDeletePS - your children are beautiful. Give them lots of extra love and hugs.
Cherish those precious blessings from the Lord. . .what sweethearts! I am so thankful that our Lord has broke through the darkness. . .that He has conquered sin, death and hell . . .
ReplyDeleteO come, Thou Day-Spring, come and cheer
Our spirits by Thine advent here;
Disperse the gloomy clouds of night
And death's dark shadows put to flight!
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.
What sweet comfort our Savior brings. . .
Hail the heav'n-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings
Ris'n with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"
(Sorry for the long post, but when I get to singing, I just can't stop!) Blessings!!
It is very sad Laurel. Give your own sweet children the best gift of all this Christmas...barrels of pure love!
