Fall Centerpiece...yardsticks, gourds and a touch of aqua...

Chipping with Charm: Fall Centerpiece...http://chippingwithcharm.blogspot.com/

Mind if I share just a couple more fall ideas this week?  We will be decorating our booth for CHRISTMAS next week...so I'll need to "switch gears" here a little bit...

...but before I do that I want to cherish my favorite season for a few more days.

I haven't shown you my Fall centerpiece.
I just can't resist layering a few yardsticks into most of my vignettes these days.

And those rustic fence pieces add the perfect bit of "imperfection" :)

A mix of gourds...real and "faux"...and some mini globes for fun.

I thought the "ribs" on the tarnished silver pieces looked "pumpkin-ish" as well.

A little pop of aqua with this lamp shade cloche.

So how about you...are you still "relishing" Fall??
I'm not quite ready to think Christmas/Winter...but when you sell retail you really have no choice.  Hop on the "sleigh" or you might miss it :)

  1. Laurel,
Luv your Fall centerpiece...it's so you! I know just what you mean...I've gotta get in that Christmas mood and get my booth full of Christmas. My goal is the first week of November. Looking forward to seeing what you do in yours.

    Blessings,
    Linda

  2. I have to admit that I've been thinking about Christmas already. It's hard to stay in season when even the stores are switching over to the winter holidays already. Great centerpiece. I have a similar sugar and creamer set and they do look like pumpkins, now that you mention it!

  8. Still loving fall and loving your centerpiece! I've been looking for some wooden yardsticks or rulers - they're so cool and I have a project in mind for them. Those little globes are adorable! Can't say I'm thinking about Christmas much yet, but that will change soon. Hugs, Leena
